I have always enjoyed creative pursuits.
In high school I discovered bead shops. and I’ve never looked back. I been honing m craft ever since. A few years ago I discovered resin (of several types) eco resin paint and wood.
While raising my daughters, my creative pursuits slowed down, but they were always on the back burner waiting for my return. Free time though rare found me learning new skills or exploring new ideas for projects. I always loved creating gifts for friends and family.
Creating brings me both peace and joy. There is something special about finishing a piece that you know will bring a smile to someone’s face. I am an ecliptic artist, I found joy in the colors of nature, whether it be from the shine of pearls, how light shines through crystals, the textures and colors of flowers, sea shells and stones and the way colors move in resin.
During the fall and winter I have fun making gifts for both adults and children. When I finished an item, I have something tangible to hold to keep, gift or sell. Rarely do make multiples of an item. Each piece of jewelry, resin tray, clock, or nightlight is unique.
